What happens next

We call you back

Usually the same day, to ask a couple of questions and find a time that works.

We come look

Measure the space, check the slab for moisture and damage, and show you real finish samples.

You get it in writing

An itemized quote covering prep, materials, install and any extras. Then it is entirely your call.

Rather just talk it through?

(217) 417-5950

Two minutes on the phone often gets you a ballpark on the spot.

Prefer to type it out? Send the quote form instead or email info@dpflooringservices.com.

Before you call

Four things that make the quote faster

None are required — but with them we can usually give you a ballpark before we get in the truck.

  • Rough dimensions. A two-car garage runs 400–500 sq ft; pacing it out is fine.
  • The age of the slab, roughly. It tells us what prep to expect.
  • A photo or two of the concrete. Cracks, spalling, oil stains and old coatings all show in a phone picture.
  • Any previous coating. Paint, sealer or a DIY kit changes the prep entirely.

What it costs to find out

Nothing, anywhere we work

Every estimate is free, on-site and no obligation, with no trip charge anywhere in the 50+ mile service area.

On the visit we measure, moisture-test the slab, bring real samples and leave an itemized written quote. Then it is your call — no pressure, no follow-up calls.

One straight answer up front: we will not quote a floor over the phone. The visit is free precisely so the number can be real.

Questions

Asked on most first calls

How long does epoxy take to cure?

Foot traffic in 12–24 hours, furniture in 24–72, vehicles after 5–7 days.

Temperature shifts those windows, so you get exact dates for your floor before we start.

How long does an epoxy floor last?

10–20 years in a home garage or basement. 5–10 under forklifts and steel wheels, then a recoat — which is cheap, because the prep is already done.

Prep decides this, not the epoxy. We grind every floor rather than acid-etch it.

Can you put epoxy over an existing floor?
  • Bare concrete — yes. The ideal surface. We grind it first so the coating keys in.
  • An existing coating — maybe. Sound and bonded, we abrade and go over it. Peeling or bubbling, it comes off first — we do that too.
  • Tile, wood, vinyl or carpet — no. Epoxy needs concrete. Those come out first.

We tell you which you have at the estimate, before you have committed to anything.
